The new fire station needed to be brought up above the flood plain which required approximately 4,000 CY of fill to be brought in, placed and compacted. The project also included instillation of water lines, storm sewer, storm drain manholes, catch basins, sanitary sewer, fire hydrants, sidewalk and curb, paving of parking lot and construction of retaining wall and footings.
Camp Elkanah Acess Road Improvements – 2013
The project included construction of a new 650 foot road with aggregate base rock surface which included a paved approach with guardrail. In order to complete the project, 6,600 CY of embankment material was brought in along with 400 CY of riprap, and 1,100 tons of aggregate base.
